Force Labs is the community action arm of the United States Cyber Defense Center and represents a partnership between local universities and the community. Force Labs was initially founded in 2023 to change the velocity of the Center's mission with a community outreach organization that can scale nationwide.

Force Labs is the community action arm of the United States Cyber Defense Center and represents a partnership between local universities and the community. Force Labs was initially founded in 2023 to change the velocity of the Center's mission with a community outreach organization that can scale nationwide.
Force Labs is both a place and an idea. The first location is physically located in Castle Rock Colorado. The Lab is designed as a maker and collaboration space to turn community, cyber defense, and passion projects for lab sponsored beneficiaries into reality.
Open to residents living in Douglas County Colorado, Force Labs in Castle Rock provides the resources to force multiply innovation and incubation. As part of our charity mission, the lab is free to those within our mission focus.
Force Labs is a non-profit organization (for lab access and passion project selection) as part of a state of Colorado charitable organization, the Cyber Defense Center. We are a 100% volunteer run organization where 100% of support benefits the organization, projects, and beneficiaries directly.

Force Labs strategically focuses on the following community needs in Castle Rock Colorado:
1) Cyber security education and workforce development for Douglas county veteran, active service member, and family members (including gold star families).

Force Labs strategically focuses on the following community needs in Castle Rock Colorado:
1) Cyber security education and workforce development for Douglas county veteran, active service member, and family members (including gold star families).
2) Cyber security education and workforce development for Douglas county neuro-diverse populations (estimated at 20% of the population under 25 years of age) including Autism, ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Dyspraxia.
3) Partnership with local universities and companies for community mentorship programs, scholarships, and internships.
4) Innovations in cyber defense capabilities for local and community energy, school districts, police departments, fire departments, water departments, food banks, hospitals, and non-profits.
4) Science and technology innovation and incubation for community socially impacting and special projects.
5) Security analysis and testing for specialty or new/emerging technologies.
6) Specialty training for cyber defense and underrepresented or niche markets.
7) Election security and integrity capabilities and testing for partner communities.
8) Local community and critical infrastructure security and testing.
9) Community cyber defense and force readiness outreach programs.
10) Research and studies on AI, Social Media, shared economy, and other locally impacting technology disruptions.
