Where a Force of One becomes a Force of Many
Force Multiplier | Cyber Defense Force Posture Accelerator | Innovation and Incubation Institute
Force Labs funds, builds, incubates, and tests new cyber defense capabilities and enhancements that are intended to provide a force multiplier to current defense technologies. Force Labs may also take on any community project because it is a non-profit organization managed by the community.
As the community action arm of the Cyber Defense Center, Force Labs provides a place within the community to gather, connect, safely share ideas, help others, receive help, do good, explore, learn, grow, improve, secure, and succeed.
Our creative vision includes Innovation as a primary purpose behind our organization's mission. Innovation provides focus for the Lab's community maker resources. The Force Labs Innovation Committee selects projects that the community introduces for sponsorship. Once selected and sponsored, an innovation need becomes available for lab member participation. An innovation project always has the following intentional outcome/s -
1) Prototype
2) Patent
3) Product
4) Publication
5) Professional
Our maker space and community maker partnerships provides most of the resources needed to achieve an innovation outcome. Depending on the selected outcome and level of sponsorship needed by Force Labs, the governance committee publishes the innovation project with member and lab collective benefits and partners. This may range from partial ownership to bonuses in relation to the outcome. The more you collectively work on, the more you collectively benefit.
Collective innovation is our purpose.
Our creative vision includes Incubation as a primary purpose behind our organizations mission. Incubation provides focus for the Lab's community knowledge resources. The Force Labs Incubation Committee selects problems or ideas that the community introduces for sponsorship. Once selected and sponsored, an incubation need becomes available for lab member participation and creative mentorship. Sponsored incubation always has the following intentional outcome/s -
1) Crowd Creative Processing
2) Mentor/Facilitated Creative Processing
3) Beneficiary/Sponsor Creative Processing
4) Divergent or Sponsored Innovation
5) Sponsored Research
Our collaboration and incubation space is overshadowed by a large portrait of Albert Einstein painted by Denny Dent with this great thinker's Force equation, E=MC2, beautifully depicted. With this mission mandate in mind, we offer in lab creative coaching and subject matter expertise during the incubation phase of the creative process to facilitate change in direction or the magnitude in a focused effort to improve velocity. All seats in our collaboration space are microphoned for live streaming or for recording sessions depending on the selected incubation outcomes.
